I'm at work, so I may have missed something, but I saw on sportsline SD had the ball on the GB 28 with 22 secs left and no time outs. Meaning Rivers coulda spiked it and SD gotten an easy fg. What happened? Did they not care to try?
Fef miss spotted the ball, with 6 or 7 secs left, Rivers was ready to snap & spike. The Ref moved the ball back 3 or 4 yards, and the whole Charger team had to move back. While this was happening, the clock ran out. Marty was hot.
